2023: A word about prices and safety

Our workshop prices have gone up. Ouch. That's because the price to put on this workshop has gone up, and after missing two years of this event, we decided to give the writing faculty a raise.

If you've been to Table Rock, you know that we can't pay them enough!

If you think you can't swing the full price, we do have scholarships.  Check out the scholarship page.

The best thing you can do for us is to take a double room so that we can admit more folks and make Wildacres happy.

If you require a single room, the rates are higher and we cannot guarantee the room until August 1. We will ask that you bring your own pillow this year.

Some things changed during COVID at Wildacres but procedures are moving back to "normal." Masks are optional at the retreat. It will be up to each group to determine their policy around masking

while at Wildacres.

As always, the retreat is deep-cleaned and sanitized using bio-based products.

No-touch hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the property at building entrances.

A No-touch thermometer is available upon request.

We will be returning to family style dining this season. The main course will be provided on the dining

tables and the salad bar will be available buffet style as in pre-COVID seasons.

Weather permitting, we have limited outside seating for those preferring to eat outside. Guests may use

takeout containers if they wish to take their meals elsewhere such as the Patio or to one of their

workspaces instead of staying in dining hall.
