All participants in the Cumberland Gap/Table Rock Spring Studio will be housed in Dishner Hall (pictured here) on the LMU campus. Each unit features three bedrooms with a shared living room, kitchenette, and wireless service in each apartment. Bring two friends and make it more fun!

This building is convenient to the LMU dining hall, library, and offers convenient parking for all participants.


  

Full Participant IN STUDIO ONLY............................................................$500
Includes a private bedroom and bath in a three-bedroom apartment with two other participants, 4 nights 11 meals. You will share a kitchenette and living room. You will have a stove, refrigerator, and microwave, but no pots, pans, or silverware.

NOTE: If you register as a participant in the Mountain Heritage Literary Festival which takes place June 15-17 on the LMU Campus, you will save $50 off the studio price. All registrations are being processed through LMU.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring your own single bed linens, blanket, and towels, a desk lamp, and a coffee or tea pot if you like.

If you enjoy getting outside to walk, bring hiking boots or comfortable walking shoes. Dress is very casual, but please be prepared for warm days, chilly nights, and the possibility of rain. You may bring a laptop and printer if you wish.

There are no telephones in the rooms but cell phone service is generally good. However, the idea is to retreat and focus on yourself and your writing! You're also welcome to bring any musical instruments, snacks, and your own favorite beverages. If you have medicines or special snacks that require refrigeration, you will have a refrigerator in the apartment.
