Table Rock Writers Workshop and Table Rock Spring Studio are sponsored by The Minnow School an educational project of Minnow Media--a communications organization that specializes in video documentary production. The principals--Donna Campbell and Georgann Eubanks, both writers and documentary producers--are dedicated to the preservation of stories. After 20 years as director of the Duke University Writers Workshop, Georgann launched the Table Rock Writers Workshop along with Donna Campbell and her sister Cindy Campbell in 2010. The fall workshop is held concurrently with SoLaTiDo--a southern singer/songwriters' workshop that Minnow Media launched in 2004. Both take place at Wildacres--a retreat center near Little Switzerland, NC that is dedicated to the betterment of human relations.
Donna and Georgann also regularly teach in the Certificate Program in Documentary Studies at Duke University and accept video projects based on the following criteria:
1. To preserve the voices and stories of individuals, communities, sites, and events that are on the verge of dramatic change or silence; and,
2. To enrich public discussion around issues of individual growth and social transformation.
